Self-confidence & Self-esteem

Self-esteem can be dinged by trauma, attachment wounds, losses and setbacks.

This can show up as imposture syndrome, indecision, chronic dissatisfaction, guilt, and sometimes shame. Feeling a lack of confidence can cause distress and lead to trouble in interpersonal relationships.

To help gain confidence and feelings of positive self-worth, I lean on Narrative Therapy to help build insight and deconstruct old stories around your sense of self. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you identify goals and values that are important to you, which can help you commit to actions that propel you towards high states of self-worth.
